About Me

This blog is about the various happenings in my life. I’m a mid-western girl who works for a small university. I spent several years teaching high school English and now find myself in the strange position of being an administrator. (Luckily, the powers that be still let me do some teaching here – my true interest.) The past few years my life has also been taken over by the care-giving I’ve tried to provide for my older and ill parents. Occasionally you may read some “venting” posts related to that “second job” (sorry about those). Feel free to skip them if you’d like. That’s about it for now…
